Girls are now safe from violence and abuse - because of YOU!

Home of Comfort (our brand-new safe house) just welcomed their very first girl! Theresa* and her two-month-old baby girl were saved from a horrific situation where Theresa’s own mother was complicit in facilitating the terrible abuse she endured. As Theresa receives care, counseling, and support in caring for her baby, HopeCo partners are now seeking justice for her through the legal system.

We are also working with the Kenyan authorities to identify other girls who urgently need rescue. As we grow this vital work, we are also working with local schools and community groups, both in Kenya and Tanzania, to raise children’s awareness about abuse and how it can be prevented. Professional counseling is being offered to girls who have survived abuse in the past, and we are collaborating with community and government agencies to introduce safeguards that better protect children.

We believe that God is calling us to “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves” (Proverbs 31:8). Through your partnership, you are helping make a lasting difference in the lives of frightened, vulnerable girls like Theresa - thank you!
