Thank God for:
Spiritual growth is evident in the lives of many of our children and staff. Jesus is changing lives forever in East Africa!
Academic Improvement is seen in many children. Praise God for our graduates that are doing well in college programs both in Tanzania and in the US.
Our 58 teachers and staff members are dedicated and committed - let’s thank God for them!
The medical team continues to save lives, with 572 babies delivered in 2023 and over 13,000 people provided with quality medical care!
The House of Faraja, our safe house in Kenya for abused girls, has already rescued seven girls!
We see breakthroughs in the battle against female genital mutilation and other harmful cultural practices.
Two inspiring children, some of the first in our residential program many years ago, are now attending university!
New church partnerships in the US are helping create lasting change in Africa - and ten mission teams are set to serve in East Africa in 2024.

Please pray for:
City of Hope: Pray that the Lord would continue to give our caregivers wisdom and grace and that each of our 95 children would continue to pursue Christ and grow in character. Continue to pray for good health for all of the children and staff in our children’s home.
Education: Pray for the 429 students in our primary and secondary school. Pray for the power of focus and concentration. Pray also for our 32 teachers as they invest their lives into equipping the next generation of leaders.
Medical Care: Pray for diligence and energy for the medical staff at Amani Medical Center, who serve thousands of people in the community every month.
Women’s Empowerment: Pray for the women being trained in Tanzania and Kenya to be able to learn new skills quickly that will allow them to earn an income and provide for their families. Pray that they would experience God’s love too!
The community: Pray for excellent partnerships with local churches and the wider community, and that many people would come to know Christ. Pray that FGM and violence against women would be ended here.
House of Faraja: Pray for the seven girls who at the safe house, for each girl to experience healing and comfort. Pray also that these precious girls would experience God’s unconditional love for them.
US students: Pray that our students would excel in their studies and that each one grows in their relationship with the Lord.
Leadership, Finances, and Mission Teams: Pray for wisdom and strength for Hudson Mahare and his leadership team and the finances needed to finish projects and provide excellent care to our children.
